Tips for first-timers
- Don’t over-pack the schedule. Two or three bases beats six rushed stops.
- The cool season (Nov–Feb) is the most comfortable time to visit.
- Carry small cash for markets and street food.
- Hire a driver for day trips — it turns long, confusing journeys into easy ones.
