Helping You See the Real Thailand

Local people, local knowledge, fixed prices — and the willingness to tell you when not to book something.

Amazing Thailand Travel Known to our guests, and on our logo, as ATT

Thailand is much more than Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. We started this guide to share the places we actually love — the waterfalls of Chanthaburi, the quiet temples of Suphanburi, the Khmer ruins of Isan, the mountains of the north — with travellers who want to see the country the way people who live here see it.

Alongside the guide, we run the practical side of trips: a private van and driver, airport transfers, visa paperwork, Muay Thai nights, and itineraries built from a blank page. One local team, from your first email to your flight home.

What we believe

  • The best trips are personal. No two travellers are the same, so no two itineraries should be either. We start from who you are, not from a route we already sell.
  • Local knowledge changes everything. Knowing to leave at 7am, which tier of the waterfall is worth the climb, and which road avoids the market traffic is the difference between a good day and a great one.
  • A price should be a price. We quote a fixed total in writing before you commit, and that is what you pay. No meters, no surge pricing, no gem-shop detours.
  • Sometimes the answer is "don't book that". If the train is better, or a metered taxi is cheaper, or your itinerary has one stop too many, we will say so. We would rather lose the booking than sell you a worse trip.

What we don't do

We don't run elephant rides, and we won't send you to a "sanctuary" that does. We don't take commission detours to gem shops or tailors. We don't mark up hotels. And we don't do anything with visa paperwork that involves misrepresenting your situation to immigration — that risk lands on your passport, not ours.

How we can help

Whether you want one day trip or a two-week route across four regions, we'll build it around you and the planning costs nothing. See our services and prices →

Our goal is simple: that you go home with stories your friends haven't heard before.

About us: common questions

Who is Amazing Thailand Travel?

A small Thai-owned travel agency working with foreign visitors. We run this free guide to Thailand and we arrange the practical side of trips — private drivers, airport transfers, visa paperwork, Muay Thai experiences and fully custom itineraries. We are based in Thailand, not overseas.

What does ATT stand for?

ATT is simply the short form of Amazing Thailand Travel — it is what people call us and what appears on our logo. The full name is the official one and the one on every quote and invoice.

Are you a licensed travel agency?

We operate as a Thai-registered travel business and work with licensed drivers holding commercial passenger permits and, where a trip includes one, licensed guides. Every quote states who is providing what, and we are happy to confirm details before you book.

Do you charge for planning?

No. We will build you a proposed route and a costed itinerary at no charge and with no obligation, and revise it as many times as it takes. If it is not right for you, or you would rather book it yourself, that is genuinely fine.

How do I pay?

Single-day transport and transfers can be paid in cash to the driver on the day. For multi-day trips and anything where we book hotels or tickets on your behalf, we take a deposit by bank transfer and state the balance and its due date clearly in the quote. There are no hidden fees.
